GSSL is planning its annual pleasure trip to visit the Yagirala secluded rain forest (from Colombo via highway 1 hrs drive). Yagirala is a tropical rain forest with a rich biodiversity, and natural beauty. The forest consist lots of streams and waterfalls. We also plan to have lunch with drinks and music at the Field Research Centre maintained by the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura. Then we are planning a ride onglass bottom boasts to witness the beauty of the marine life in and around the corals of Hikkaduwa Coral Garden. We may also have a sea bath at the end of the trip. GSSL would like to invite all its members with the family to participate and enjoy this event.
The costs would be as follows; GSSL member – Rs. 1,500, the spouse Rs. 1,000 and a Child Rs. 500.
