GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF SRI LANKA
Admission
The GSSL consist of Honorary Life members, Life members, Ordinary members, Student members, foreign Ordinary and Life members, Associate members and Ordinary and Life member Institutions.
Ordinary, foreign Ordinary and Life membership shall be open
to all persons qualified in the geological and related science
and to such other graduates and practicing geologists as the
executive committee may consider eligible for membership.
An Honorary Life member shall be a person whom the
association desires to honour for outstanding services to
geological and related science and shall be elected only at a
general meeting.
Associate membership shall be open to all other persons interested in the object of the association.
Student membership shall be available only to person undergoing full-time education in the geological and related sciences at undergraduate level.
Application for membership should be submitted to the Executive Committee in a prescribed form along with the admission fee of Rs. 300.00. Fees could either send a cheque payable to the Geological Society of Sri Lanka or can pay directly to the Treasurer.
