Prof. C.B. Dissanayake, Former Director of National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) and Emeritus Professor (Geology) of University of Peradeniya received Life Time Achievement Award given by the National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka for his outstanding contribution made to Sri Lanka in the field of Science, Technology and innovation. It was awarded by His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena at the 50th anniversary golden jubilee celebrations of National Science Foundation (NSF) held at the BMICH on 4th October 2018.
