33rd Annual Technical Sessions – Call for Abstracts
33rd Annual Technical Sessions of the Geological Society of Sri Lanka (GSSL) will be held on 24th February 2017 at theAuditorium, Plant Genetic Resources Centre (PGRC) of the Department of Agriculture, Gannoruwa, under the theme of “Geoscience for Sustainable Development”.
The Technical Sessions will be a unique forum for geoscientists in the country to present their research findings and exchange knowledge among other fellow geologists. Therefore, the editors of the GSSL invite you to submit an abstract in any branch of geosciences to be presented at the 33rd Technical Sessions.
You are requested to submit electronic version (MS Word) of one paged abstract ( 300 words) to one of the editors (Dr. Sanjeewa Malaviarachchi, or Dr. Nanda Balasooriya, ) before the closing date.
Please note that the abstracts will be peer-reviewed and only accepted abstracts will be appeared in the Proceedings of the Technical Sessions.
We would appreciate if you could send us the abstracts according to the guidelines on or before 15th January, 2017.
